The idea of designing High Performance Electrodes and, ultimately, the DV8™ System, came from so many people complaining about the lack of output power of the comparatively weak Chinese and Ukrainian wands, which are often sold as “D’Arsonval” High Frequency Units for as low as $ 25.00 including shipping on eBay. This includes the KinkLab “Neon Wand” and the  Zeus “Twilight Wand”,  which are mostly identical in construction and output.

While the sensations these Violet Wands cause with glass electrodes are quite mild, using Electrode Attachments from the DV8™ System you get sensations so strong, that most people will not be able to take those at the maximum power setting.

In the meantime, many people are using the DV8™ System with standard Violet Wands, be it to get maximum output for more serious applications or just for the unique sensations the different Electrode Attachments can deliver. The Electrode Attachments you find here, work just like glass electrodes, but pack several times the output power at the same wand setting.
